Siemens Re-branding Itself as Unify – Still Leading the Way Forward in Telecommunications Industry
On 15 October 2013 the company formerly known as Siemens Enterprise Communications changed its name to Unify. The company made this strategic move in the hopes of taking advantage of the rapidly growing interested in hosted unified communications. Even though Siemens might have re-branded themselves, they still continue to deliver their industry leading communications solutions.
The re-branding comes at a time when the way companies and organisations around the world communicate with each other and in-house is changing. Thanks to new trends such as employees working on their own devices, they aren’t any longer tied to their desktop and desk phones to do their work. When you look at global trends, like a recent Infonetics Research survey that reveals 87% of U.S. companies planning to add video conferencing to their unified communications infrastructure by august 2014, it’s clear to see that this system is the future.
By positioning itself as a forward thinking industry leader, Siemens Unify will be sure to continue its industry domination by providing the unified communications solutions that enterprises demand. Siemens is a world leader in communications technology, ranging from VoIP services, PABX systems, cordless telephony and many other unified communications solutions for the modern business.
Many of South Africa’s leading enterprises are entirely dependent on the communication technology solutions that Siemens offer them. At South Atlantic Communications we are proud of our accredited Siemens Unify partner status. We specialize in providing communication services to a wide range of customers and we have a national presence in the telecommunications industry.
